At Jaspur, Ahmedabad, Vishv Umiyadham achieved a historic milestone with the world's largest religious raft casting - the first of its kind in India. The massive foundation was laid on 1,551 religious pillars, using 24,000 cubic meters (8,57,500 cubic feet) of concrete, poured continuously over 72 hours.
This colossal raft will support the upcoming 504-feet world's tallest Maa Umiya Temple, being developed across 100 acres with a ₹2,000 crore social fund. Alongside the temple, the project will include initiatives in education, health, employment, sports, and cultural empowerment.
The historic casting was witnessed by Hon'ble Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, who took the blessings of Maa Umiya and reviewed the temple's Navnirman work. The event was also graced by film actor Vivek Oberoi, along with trustees, donors, and committee members, making it a truly memorable occasion.
